Liam Neeson... wow! I didn't even know who he was until I saw this movie. And I must say... "He's pretty fly for a white guy!" LOL or in the words of Paris Hilton, "That's hot!"

I love this movie. If you like action and suspense this is the movie for you. Liam Neeson still has it!

FAST PACED GUILTY PLEASURE FUN!

'Taken' is a fast paced action film that doesn't waste anytime getting to the point. The set up is simple and Liam Neeson shows he can play a bad A$$ as good as the next guy. What I enjoyed about this film is that it doesn't try to be something it's not. It's under an hour and a half and Neeson is terrific as a father on a mission to save his teenage daughter. If your an action fan this is a no brainer, but I think this will satisfy any movie lover who likes guilty pleasure films.

'Extended' version shorter?

Can someone explain why, if the Amazon listings are correct, the "extended" version is shorter by two minutes (93 minutes for standard version; 91 for "extended")?
Does not seem to make a lot of sense.
