After Gloria takes him home and rapes him, Billy falls in love with her. Her attractive cousin Lydia (Jeri Lynn Ryan) visits, and Gloria gets upset to find that her pet pig has been converted into an evening meal by Lydia. Worse, Gloria begins to suspect Billy has taken a fancy to Lydia. Shown at Austin's 1998 South By Southwest Filmfest. ~ Bhob Stewart, All Movie Guide

I saw this movie at a screening with the director, Tamara Hernandez, and the female lead. While strange, it is a very good movie, and one that anyone sick of Hollywood fare should see. It is quite funny, with many memorable charachters and scenes. I wish she made more like this one.

If you only rent this because of Jeri Ryan you will most likely be dissapointed. However, if you like more offbeat humor with a healthy touch of perversity than give this hilarious and disturbing dysfunctional relationship story a chance. Oh, and the film has in fact won several awards Best Film at the 1998 SXSW film fest and Audience favorite at the '98 Chicago Underground Film Festival.

loss of respect

I bought this movie primarily because Jeri Ryan is in it. I love her as 7 of 9. However, I was completely disgusted by this movie. If someone likes sexual perversion, then I guess this movie is for that person. An animal rights person should stay away from this movie. Jeri's character brutally butchers a pot bellied pig. I still think she is a good actress, but this movie doesn't do her justice.
