A graduate of the Drama Centre in London, Anne-Marie Duff first cultivated a career on the stage, appearing in numerous theatrical productions throughout the '90s, like {+King Lear}, {+War and Peace}, and {+Vassa}. Eventually trying her hand at on-screen acting, Duff earned critical praise for her performances in numerous film and TV projects, especially her starring roles in the lavish BBC-produced mini-series The Virgin Queen, Shameless, and Doctor Zhivago.
