Detroit native Rick Worthy began honing his skills as an actor in 1990 when he graduated from the University of Michigan and moved to Chicago, where he performed with the Chicago Dramatists Workshop, the Goodman Theatre, and Victory Gardens Theater. He began supplementing his theater career with on-screen acting gigs in the mid-'90s, making several guest appearances and even taking on recurring roles on Murder One in 1997 and the TV series The Magnificent Seven in 1998.
More guest appearances followed over the coming years, on shows like Felicity, CSI: Miami, and The Mentalist. Worthy also continued to find ongoing roles, playing alien characters on both Star Trek: Enterprise and Battlestar Galactica. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide.
