Bad B movie. Emo Philips is in it for a very short walk on part, yet he gets top billing from Amazon which I think is misleading. The story line has huge gaps. How the movie gets to the final ending is a big mystery. It wasn't worth the $6.99, I paid for it in October, I see it has gone up to $13.49.

this is a good movie,this adventure follows an expedition to the earth's core where a team of explores uncovers an underground sea, giants mushrooms and prehistoric creatures including a giant gorilla that rivals king kong!. this fantasy classic boats a stellar international cast including kenneth more(A NIGHT TO REMEMBER, SINK THE BISMARCK!),the beautiful ivonne sentis and euro-cult stars jack taylor(SUCUBUS,NIGHT OF THE SORCERERS)and frank braña( ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST). this film has been restored in its uncut widescreen. i recommended.

just horrid

I made the mistake of not reading the reviews on this - I was like so many others wanting to get another version of Jules Verne's story - and this is just pure stupidity! I didn't even finish watching the movie - I threw it in the trash. At least I didn't pay a lot for it -

I really like the Journey to the Center of the Earth movies but this was not very good. I would say my least favorite of all that have been made so far.

The movie was not completed, due to budgetary cuts. There is not a single redeeming quality to this movie, only bad things.
