My movie arrived right on time. This is a hard to find dvd (it came out when I was a little kid) and I was thrilled to get it for such a good price. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

Positive family message

All I Want for Christmas is one of our family favorites that we have to watch every year. It's a wonderful Christmas movie, with lots of adventure and laughter for the kids and adults. And in a world where so many marriages are ending in divorce, this movie shows a couple who were divorced, coming back together and healing their family. What an amazing story of reconciliation! This is a clean, fun, positive family movie.

The history of the actors in this movie is more interesting than the movie itself.

This movie has a lot of actors that are known for other things. First of all, let's start off with Ethan Randall (Embry). He played Russ in "Vegas Vacation," and also had a bit part in "Sweet Home Alabama." Thora Birch who plays Hallie, is now doing nude scenes in movies like "American Beauty" and "Winter Of Frozen Dreams." So aside from her performances in "Ghost World" with Scarlett Johansson," and "The Hole" with Keira Knightley, she hasn't really done much. In the movie, her father is played by Jamey Sheridan who also played the boss in "Law and Order Criminal Intent" for the first few years. The love interest for Ethan in the movie was Stephanie, and she was played by Amy Oberer, who's only other claim to fame was playing a nude housewife in the Martin Lawrence movie "Blue Streak." Stephanie's mother in the movie was played by Felicity LaFortune, who guest starred on soap operas in the late 1990's. Also, actors such as Kevin Nealon, Leslie Neilsen, and the classic actress Lauren Bacall are also in this movie. Compared to all this character history, the movie pales in comparison. It is a family friendly movie but it is fairly predictable with a cookie cutter holiday plot.
