The worst of the "Dirty Harry" movies

I found this to be long and drawn out as far as the Dirty Harry movies go. I found it to be too graphic, and too violent for my taste. I actually found myself falling asleep watching this movie, and when I woke up it was still on. I wouldn't even recommend this to anyone who was desparate for a movie. Curl up with a good book instead. I know the one thing I couldn't stand was the fat hag who encourgaed the rape in the first place. The movie is standard "Dirty Harry" faire, but it was just too long, and violent.

My husband wanted this dvd forever and couldn't find . I simply went into amazon.com and there it was. He is so happy that it completed his set.

My husband and I are huge Clint Eastwood fans. His movies are very well done. We enjoy the action, and drama that only Mr. Eastwood can do! From westerns to drama he is a very versatile actor, director and producer!

This fourth Harry Callahan sequel shows us a maverick cop who will have to pursuit a female serial killer (seeking for the primary instinct revenge). But besides, one feels he like the good wine, matured still more his role, facing "the sea of corruption," "the judicial procedures", the bureaucratic barriers and populist behavior of his superiors.
Clint Eastwood introduces three basic elements that makes this entry be worthy to watch: a good doses of humor (introducing a sympathetic dog), two collateral partners Horace and a young officer who really admire his way to apply justice, although he is regarded a dinosaur by most of his colleagues and finally to scrutinize and makes us to reflect about the brutal and horrid sexual attack of this beautiful female (the sensual Sandra Locke).
The secondary plots are outstandingly linked with the primary plot, through a series of violent vignettes in which half dozen of outlaw people will have to feel the won system code of Dirty Callahan.
A personal cult movie since Magnum 44.

My husband collects Clint Eastwood movies...he didnt' have these yet. I couldn't believe the reasonable price and the speedy fast FREE delivery through Amazon for Christmas gifts and this movie. GREAT buy!
