Plot: Geoff Murphy directed this time-travel chase movie. Emilio Estevez stars as Alex Furlong, a racecar driver from 1991, who is just about to experience a deadly crash in his Formula Atlantic. But at the last moment Alex finds himself transported to the streets of New York in 2009. He is saved from certain death and zapped into the future by 21st-century bounty hunter Vacendak (Mick Jagger), who wants to take over Alex's body. Alex escapes Vacendak's clutches and decides to look up an old girlfriend. When he locates Julie (Rene Russo), he enlists her support to help him from being captured by Vacendak. Much to Alex's surprise, he discovers that Julie now works as a top executive for a giant corporation presided over by McCandless (Anthony Hopkins). Julie, separated from Alex for almost twenty years, must decide whether to renew their relationship. But there is not much time for thought by either party, since Vacendak is still coming after Alex. ~ Paul Brenner, All Movie Guide

How does one combine the gilded luster of Sir Mick Jagger's blinding "kavorka" with the ever-demanding and untamed bravado wielded by "The" Sir Tony Hopkins; thrust upon you, daring your very existance? You must first travel back to the year 1992, for there is only one who radiates the 'gusto grandioso' this rabid, no-holds-barred world of greed and lust desires...His name is Emilio "The Alchemist" Estevez, and he WILL NOT SUBMIT to the 21st Century!! Pack your bags for this tour-de-force that tears through the very fabric of time! In The Year 2009 A.D., Getting Jack'd Off Is Never Free

Few things Regarding "Freejack" (June 1, 2004) DVD Release:

FREEJACK is on my list of Top Ten Worst Movies I'v ever seen. I've been seeing so many four- and five-star ratings for things on Amazon that I thought I'd look p something truly horrific and see if people really had general bad taste.

They do.

This one of the coolest sci-fi movies you will ever see, the whole concept of this movie is so fantastic, that who knows if it was ever possible. Life might be just like it was portrayed in the movie. great acting, by a whole bunch of great actors even Mr.Rolling stone himself wasn't bad in this movie. Although the the music of the Stones is what he will be remembered by not his acting. You won't be dissappointed even if you buy this movie un-seen, because when you do see it you'll agree with me I am sure.
