Plot: This direct-to-video sequel to the teen-oriented body-swap fantasy Dream a Little Dream (1989) - which, like its predecessor, stars Corey Feldman and Corey Haim as longtime buddies Bobby and Dinger - preserves the fantastic reality mood of the original but offers audiences a slightly different plot conceit (and omits co-stars Jason Robards, Jr. and Harry Dean Stanton). In the sophomore outing, the boys have graduated from high school and now share an apartment with a lady friend. They happen upon two pair of magical sunglasses, one of which enables the wearer to exert total control over the doings of the person who wears the other pair. Unfortunately, the shades were invented by a homicidal nut who soon notices their absence and sets out to reclaim his property. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide

OH YEAH THIS MOVIE IS THE GOODEST I EVER SEEN! IT IS REALLY MUCH GOODER THAN THE OTHER MOVIES I SEEN IN THIS YEAR. I REALLY LIKE THIS MOVIE BECAUSE IT'S GOOD. I LIKE COREY CAUSE HE ACTS GOODER THEN LEO IN THE TITANIC. AND HE'S HOT TOO...MUCH HOTTIER THEN BEFORE. I LIKED THE OTHER ONE TOO BUT THIS ONE IS GOODER. I THINK YOU ALL SHOULD WATCH THIS MOVIE FOR THE GOOD WAY PEOPLE ACT AND THE GREAT STORY IT TELLS FOR YOU. THE ONLY REASON I DIDN'T GIVE THIS GOOD MOVIE 5 OF THE STARS IS BECAUSE IT WASN'T LONGER. IT COULD HAVE BEEN GOODER IF IT WAS MORE LIKE 3 HOURES AND NOT THE ONLY HOUR AND HALF IT WAS. DOES ANYONE AGREE WITH ME ON THIS ONE? I LIKEED THIS MOVIE FOR THE MESSAGE OF LOVE IT TELLS. EVERYONE SHOULD BE NICER AND GOODER TO EACHOTHER CAUSE ITS' A SHORT MOVIE. I NEVER WATCHED A GOODER MOVIE IN MY LIFE ANED PROBABLY NEVER EVER WILL. THAT ALL.

Dream a Little Dream was one of my favorite movies from the 80's. It had the Corey's with their great style and chemistry together, it had vintage actors like Jason Robards and Piper Laurie and it had Meredith Salenger (whom I could watch read the phone book for 2 hours and not complain). When I found out there was a SEQUEL I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy. But, as sequels often are, Dream a Little Dream 2 is a cheap imitation. The story line is a far stretch at best from the original. Magic glasses that allow the wearer to control another persons actions, come on. Robyn Lively takes over as Feldman's love interest (not bad, but she's no Meredith). Stacie Randall takes a turn as both the Coreys' dream girl and makes for pretty good eye candy, but not very convincing as the villan. Robards and Laurie are gone which loses alot of the class of the original. Also, at this point in their careers the Corey's don't have their same flair together as it seems they were starting to outgrow each other and venture out on their own. Not a horrible movie, but not a worthy sequel to an 80's pop classic.

I really enjoyed watching this show growing up because of it's fantasy type storyline. The sequel isn't nearly as good.

This movie is a disastar compared to the first one, wich is one of my all time favorite movies. I can't believe the same stars (Haim, Feldmen) returned to make such a bad follow up to a great story.

Lemmo o Lemmo

Director James Lemmo attempts to make a neat little film about dream worlds, eighty year old couples, and out of body experiences. He fails miserably. Strange dream sequences with sheep and a half naked Jason Robards are the only plusses.

People miss the point, I think...

1.5/5

When they made this flick, the National Lampoon series was pretty much outta funds, outta time, and not nearly as popular as it was during the 70's and 80's. They had literally done everything; hence, the title.

No, the joke was squarely on the two Corey's.

I think it is unfortunate that they did this to their careers. They were talented until they started thinking they didn't have to work in quality films. You have to take small rolls sometimes...it's the truth.

Look at their resumes pre-'90 in comparison to anything post. It is aweful. They still thought they were kids.

This film is an atrocity...

Stupid, plotless but funny

I own this movie. It makes no sense, it lacks any plot, but it is funny. If you like Corey Haim and Corey Feldman chances are youll like this movie.
