Plot: It's 3 a.m. -- do you know where your condoms are? That's one of the dilemmas befalling the characters in this raunchy comedy. Rushon (Tommy Davidson) is a mild-mannered Buppie who has been going out with his girlfriend Nikki (Tamala Jones) for about seven weeks; they seem to like each other well enough, but the relationship has been mainly platonic, and Nikki isn't so sure that she wants that to change. Rushon asks Nikki out to dinner, but Nikki wants to bring along her tart-tongued friend Lysterine (Viveca A. Fox). Rushon has to find a date for her, and he comes up with his rude-boy buddy Bunz (Jamie Foxx). Lysterine and Bunz soon hit it off, and, to Rushon's surprise, Nikki decides it's time for their relationship to move to the physical level. Only one problem: this is the '90s, and all parties involved want to be sure they're practicing safe sex. Which means Rushon and Bunz have to find some condoms fast, before the evening's mood evaporates. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

An all time great.

Before purchasing the video, I had seen this film 10 times. It's one of the most funniest films I've ever seen. The dialog and acting is great. All of the people in this film were funny. I couldn't stop laughing. Although Jamie Fox was the star, I'd have to say that the others in the film made it even better. If you want to laugh a lot then this is the film for you. Thumbs Up for this film.

One of the funniest films of the late nineties

Booty Call is one of the funniest urban films ever made. Jamie Foxx had his first starring role in this film and he showed that he could carry a movie. Tommy Davidson plats second string to Foxx but the two make a great comic team and Vivca Fox is also very sexy in this movie. One has to wonder what would happened if Chris Tucker would have taken this movie on instead of Rush Hour.

I've seen funnier

I bought this movie for a friend who just loved it. I on the other hand think it was mediocre. Other than a handful of funny "one-liners" this movie leaves little to be desired. High point of the movie, almost seeing Vivica A. Fox naked...almost.
