Plot: In this romantic comedy, a man loses the love of his life, only to find her heart beating in the body of someone new. Architect Bob Rueland (David Duchovny) is happily married until his wife Elizabeth (Joely Richardson), a zoologist, dies in an auto accident. A year later, Bob is still dealing with his loss when he meets Grace Briggs (Minnie Driver), a shy woman who waits tables in an Irish/Italian restaurant run by her grandfather Marty (Carroll O'Connor). Bob falls for Grace at first sight, and she's attracted to him as well, but what he doesn't know is that a year ago Grace was the recipient of a heart transplant -- and that Elizabeth was the donor. My husband and I had seen the movie "Return To Me" and liked it. He made the comment that it would be a good movie to have. I ordered it from Amazon and was very satisfied with their service. If you watch the movie have some tissues ready.

Great Movie!

This is a great movie! Full of humor, great actors, great little love story! It was one we had to buy and make our own to watch again and again. We have had a great time sharing it with friends, who have all enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time.

I got my DVD and when I tried to play it, it would not play. It kept telling me it was the wrng Number Region and when I emailed the shipper I never got a reply, so I was not happy with my DVD. I am sorry this happened because I have always had good luck with Amazon and was disapointed. Joan Wilson

a FAVORITE Romantic Comedy

As you can see from the reviews, MOST people (usually women, who have good taste) LOVE this movie. It is one of my all-time favorites. The cast and writing are superb. The music is wonderful! If you have a heart, you will fall absolutely in love with this movie.....(I gave it a personal Academy Award in 2000 as best movie of the year!)

I love that Bonnie Hunt put her family in this movie. It feels so authentic. The people are so real and unaffected. I will watch this one over and over.
