Plot: Up-and-coming movie star Vince (Adrian Grenier) has good reason to celebrate as Entoruage begins its third season: He has landed the title role in Aquaman, a megabucks epic directed by Titanic's own James Cameron. Likewise luxuriating in Vince's good fortune are his pals Eric (Kevin Connolly and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) and his actor brother Drama (Kevin Dillon). The only one not in a celebratory mood is Vince's agent Ari (Jerry Piven), who has been booted from his job at a powerful Hollywood talent agency and is now living a hand-to-mouth existence and working out of an office no bigger than a broom closet. For a while, it looks like Vince will also suffer from a stroke of bad luck when the LA opening of Aquaman is repeatedly interrupted by rolling power blackouts. This is the season that Vince adopts a new member of his entourage, an ex-convict named Dom (Domenick Lombardozzi), who promptly comes up with a plan to land Vince the role of a lifetime in the upcoming film Medelin--which, alas, would screw our hero out of starring in Aquaman 2. Meanwhile, Turtle is managing pop singer Saigon and, as usual, is having trouble handling success. Drama is given a shot at TV stardom in his own series, Five Towns. And after two years of delays, Vince and Eric's independent project Queen's Boulevard may finally see the light of day. Unfortunately, once again poor Ari is unable to capitalize on Vince's success, having managed to mess up a proposed film project for The Ramones and subsequently being replaced by new agent Amanda (Carla Gugino)--whose first assignment for Vince is a period drama based on the works of Edith Wharton, not exactly a brilliant career move for the star of Aquaman. Ultimately, Ari resurfaces out of nowhere with financing for the temporarily-shelved Medelin, but Vince isn't prepared for the sacrifice he must make to get this job. And while all this is going on, Turtle's fondness for limited-edition sneakers may completely alter the course of his life. Among the celebrities appearing as themselves this season are James Woods, Seth Green, Eric Burns and Pauly Shore. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Show slows down a bit this season

4.2 stars

Didn't dig this one nearly as much as season three, mainly because there wasn't enough of Dillon and Piven, my reasons for watching the show. Vince and Eric are pleasant enough, but really not that funny. And I watch this show to laugh, so the Medellin story line gets a little old due to its semi-seriousness. I also got more than a bit tired of the Walsh character, who might be accurate as a type but really isn't very funny and grates pretty hard after a while.

Nonetheless, the writing is still strong and there are enough solid laughs to make it worth watching.

The product was delivered earlier than I expected so that first of all grabbed my attention and now makes me want to purchase more from Amazon. Also it came in new condition completely wrapped with no dents or dings to the product.

Overall it was a great season of Entourage to watch and if you haven't seen Entourage before, check it out. It's something that shouldn't be missed.

More of the Same--Is that a Bad Thing? (There is a Shift though)
Added 9/15/2009

One of the things that surprised me when I first started watching ENTOURAGE was that you saw nothing of Vince's professional life. He shot movies but the show would end as he left to shoot something and then pick back up again when he returned. I thought that was a interesting choice and the show still worked.

But as each season appears, we're getting more and more involved in the process of making movies and it's really paying off for the series.

We're not only seeing them "film" Vince's projects now, we're even treated to the a "Making Of" featurette to kick off the 4th season.

Still love the show, still want to see more...still can't get enough of Ari Gold's antics and profanity-laden rants. I guess Jeremy Piven has several Emmys and you'll see why when he catch him as Agent Ari Gold. The idea of giving him Lloyd as a secretary was a gold mine in itself and their scenes, as usual, steal the show.

I don't know where they're going with this show...but I'm ready to go!
