Plot: Eva Longoria Parker, Paul Rudd, and Lake Bell star in first-time feature filmmaker Jeff Lowell's heavenly romantic comedy concerning a female psychic and a doubtful skeptic who find their fledgling love affair thwarted by the latter's recently deceased fiancée. Henry (Rudd) and Kate (Longoria Parker) were all prepared to live out their happily ever after when tragedy struck from out of nowhere and Kate was killed on their wedding day. In the aftermath of the accident, a devastated Paul reluctantly takes his sister's advice and pays a visit to local psychic Ashley (Bell). Now, despite the fact that he openly questions her ability to communicate with the dearly departed, Paul can't help but fall head over heels in love with Ashley. Despite the fact that the feelings are most certainly mutual, however, their growing relationship is threatened when Kate makes it her supernatural mission to sabotage the happy couple's fledgling relationship before it starts to get serious. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Mildly amusing but nothing special.

Eva Longoria Parker did an excellent job as a control-freak bridezilla, who nicely segwayed into a control-freak ghost, haunting her groom's new girlfriend. Of all the ghost-themed movies, this was definitely the silliest, with the ghost playing juvenile practical jokes on her hauntee, along with the two getting into wisecracking cat fights. Between practical jokes and verbal cat fights though, the movie sagged. Paul Rudd as the grieving groom was a nice guy with a good sense of humor and of course better looking than average, and Lake Bell did an okay job as the klutzy psychic girlfriend. But really, this was a one actor movie--Eva Longoria Parker. The movie was mildly amusing, but nothing special.

Eva Longoria, "Kate", dies on her wedding day when a statue falls on her. Her fiancee "Henry" gets very depressed for a whole year and his sister tries to help him out of his misery. She takes him to a female psyschic "Ashley" to try to convince him that Kate wants him to go on and see other women. The psyhcic gets attracted to Henry, and he does too, and they start going out together. Kate goes to earth in a mission to break them both up and keep her fiancee away from Ashley. The rest of the movie is about a funny struggle between Kate and Ashley to see who will eventually keep Henry.

I really really wanted to see this movie when it came out in theaters.
Then I bought it off of here, and I just really really didn't like it. I mean its worth seeing once, but It wont be one of those 'watch, rewind, and watch again' ones. I just didn't care for it.
