Tomb Raider Legend
Added 9/28/2009

I like Tomb Raider, and I have almost all of the tomb Raider series now. I will not resell them, cause I go back after a while and replay them just to find the jewels. The person selling this is a good judge of disk, cause I have had no problems out of the disk.

Gimme the perfect game
Added 6/15/2009

Lara Croft has been the most played character in gaming history. A record like Wilt Chamberlain scoring a hundred points in an NBA game, Lara may never be surpassed either. The two TRs that were the most similar in play and total gaming were #2 & #3. I still like their look on PC even today. #1's graphics were pixelated, but we loved it all the same. #4 & #5 are good too. Now, TR:AOD(1st PS2 game), everyone complains about, but everyone that slammed it, finished it, and maybe even played it again. No one ever says that they played the first level and quit or threw the game away, which I've done before(Doom3's one dimensional play). Tomb Raider will always be the thinking person's game, not the fast twitch kill 50 monsters in-a-row type of game. TR:AOD was a very good game with a not very good control scheme. I really liked the colorful graphics compared to the new incarnations of muted colors in Legend, Anniv., and Underworld. Another game that everyone complains about is Rez Evil4(pc), but is one best playing games around. Legend is the best of the new bunch(AOD,Legend,Anniv., and now Underworld), with few glitches and good play. Anniversary is good too, but it has some sections for me that my non-teenage hands can't move fast enough to maneuver. Spinning blades on walls and Centaurs are killing me from finishing that one, and I've been able to finish every TR game 'cept that one. Why have we gotten nine TRs so far? Because we love to play the darn thing over and over again. Just like your spouses and friends, you complain about them, but you always keep coming back. Personally I'd like to see a combo of TR:AOD and the last three, with a few items from the oldies. OK, back to TR:Legend, if you haven't played any TR games to date, this is a good starter. Also, start with one of the oldies 1-5. #1 is pixel-dated in todays standards. You always gain a greater appreciation for the newer games if you have played earlier incarnations. Try Legend or Underworld first also. Shooting in TR games is always a diversion to the true intent, being able to find your way through the maze of tunnels, cliffs, caverns, oceans, and buildings. All in all I don't have anything bad to say about Lara and her Legend. Some people are complainers and some enjoy life, just play it, as Nike says.

A pleasure to play
Added 4/5/2009

but a little shorter than expected.

I wanted to give this game a favorable review because I gave such a poor review for underworld

I have played all of the TR games, and this one was one of the better ones in terms of Graphics and puzzles. My only complaint is that I finished this one in a couple of evenings. Seems kind of short compared to some. (TR3 took me almost a year to complete off and on)

Not too hard, but still fun.

This is one of the best Tomb Raider Games

From the second I started playing until the second I stopped I knew this game would be great. The graphics are excellent. Levels well thought out, the puzzles amazing. I have barely anything bad to say about this game..... except it's far to short it took me 6 hours to beat it and 24 hours to do everything and I mean everything. But aside from that it's amazing and the voice actors are great I eagerly await Underworld the next in the series. Also the game had few if any glitches except the only one the stuck out as a full blown glitch was the one in Kazakhstan with the doors but maybe my timing was off. I would suggest any Tomb Raider fans buy this game. It's great. And fun.

Tomb Raider Legend

Tomb Raider Legend delivers the fun game play that many of us have come to expect from a Tomb Raider Game. The puzzles in the game are challenging but not impossible. The combat difficulty can be adjusted so this game is perfect for anyone, especially if the person has ever played a Tomb Raider Game before. Tomb Raider Legend utilizes the XBox's hardware well to produce stunning in-game graphics. The controls are easy to use. In addition to the main storyline, obtaining all the rewards to gain 100% completion in the game adds hours of fun. This game is definitely worth picking up!

Tomb Raider Legend - Xbox
Added 4/7/2007

Great fun climbing, exploring, fighting bosses, solving puzzles and collecting more than 100 hidden tokens. If you need more challenge, the time trails for each mission will keep you busy. Hope to see more TR for Xbox in the future.
