This movie is Hilarious

I am so sick of stupid greased up he-man movies like Troy and 300, and it is very refreshing to finally see someone making fun of how incredibly gay those movies are. I enjoy violence as much as the next guy, but 300 was like some sort of homoerotic fantasy, and it was great to see it get ripped on by the makers of this fine film.

High Satire

I decided to check out why this movie has gotten so many one star ratings and with no presumptions I found myself actually being entertained by the satire, high and low burlesque and parody of many popular Hollywood movies, TV shows and personalities. The lampooning was spot-on for many star studded idols. If you approach this mock-epic with a light hearted openness you will find your reward in a few laughs and a "they shouldn't take themselves so seriously" a-ha.

I know this movie got bad reviews, but it is destined to become a cult classic. I love oddball comedies and this fills the bill. I loved it and when I saw the movie 300, the spoof of it was great!

Farting penguins. QED.

I've seen some really bad movies in my time - I mean like stuff that was so bad the directors parents should have disowned them followed by the United Nations declaring all involved being enemies of society. At the same time, I've managed to sit through them, no matter what length of time those little mini-torture fests were.
This film I managed to sit through for about...five minutes. Perhaps four. I forget. Needless to say, after the penguin starts farting in Leonidas's face with full intention of comedy, I turned it off.
Now I'm a fair man, and later caught the film on a movie channel. I came in midway through, only to find that - like every other film made by these people - every joke goes on for five minutes. So after about twenty minutes or so of the same joke, I turned it off again.
Hour and a half pop culture references. Where could you go wrong? Well, where COULDN'T you go wrong? Please, don't waste money on this. Spend your money donating to the Ronald McDonald foundation or filling your car up with gas. I don't know. I don't care. Just flee.

Mixing ancient with metrosexuality

Mix of masculine males with modern metrosexuals had been used to a history-linked empty script of which degree of stupidity presented could just in general be overshadowed with different genre creations such as "Hostel (Unrated Widescreen Edition)".
As these days "Bruno [Theatrical Release]" was banned in the Ukraine for ethic reasons, a very question remains of an item revied to be allowed in and demanded on in Greece.
Overpriced in local shops as Amazon's $0.01 is OK.
