This movie is an insult to cows!

If I had a bell in my head to ring, I would've rang it along time ago. This movie was horrible. The acting and I was never a fan of Ali & Aj. It was exactly what I expected it to be.

"Its All About Me" Turn Around
Added 9/3/2009
This is a really fun family movie to watch and has a great message, which is: it is much more fulfilling to find joy in helping others rather than by focusing so much on ones self.

Not a good Disney movie
Added 2/29/2008
I usually like Disney movies. They are simple, colorful, delivers a good message and it is mindless TV for about an hour and a half. When I started watching Cow Girls, this is what I was expecting. The movie is about two girls who have to work at their father's dairy company and must soon save the company when things start to go wrong. The movie was awful; it had bad acting, bad, super super bad dialogue, cliché scenes (but to the extreme) and it was just bad in general. Did anyone bother to call the police when the guy stole the money?!
My major issue with the movie is the dialogue, it was pathetic. Alyson and Amanda Michalka are not amazing actresses, but they are not that horrible. But, the script in this movie makes their acting horrible. I'd rather watch Zenon: Girl of 21st Century, Cadet Kelly or High School Musical (Two-Disc Remix Edition). This movie was really bad and I was appalled that it made it to the TV screen.

Not As Erotic As It Should Have Been
Added 7/3/2007
The words `Cow Belles' and Alyson Michalka invokes fantasies her in sexy milk maid outfits and rolling in the hay.
Unfortunately `Cow Belles' chooses not to use any of Alyson's resources and falls flat as a boring failure. There are really not entertaining aspects to this film, which is an accomplishment since it starred Alyson Michalka.
The Plot: Aly and AJ Michalka come across like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie in `The Simple Life' as pop tarts in a small farming community. Their single father the richest man in town owns the local pasteurization plant.
The girls think it will be fun to work at the plant during their father's overseas vacation. But their follies at the factory are not sexy or funny. Instead they are vindictively ridiculed by the envious employees. "Let's face it you and your sister are nothing but a couple of spoiled brats." Not something I recommend saying to your boss's daughters.
Within a matter of days the plant faces a bankruptcy from which it cannot recover. Putting the entire town out of work. It's up to the girls to save the whole town.
Sadly, none of this is entertaining in any way. Even a die hard Alyson fan like me was disappointed. You are warned.
