Second favorite game of 2007

Awesome game! Totally revolutionary. No real complaints... but personally I preferred Assains Creed over it. Well worth the price.

Incredible

This game is so much fun! It is not too difficult to play and figure the things out, and its not too easy. If you get stuck the 2nd or 3rd time trying something, there are hints that are provided. An exciting plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat!

Uncharted is one of the overlooked gems of the early PS3 game library.
Added 11/6/2009
Uncharted combines action and platforming in a way that makes the game feel like playing a true Indiana Jones game. Nathan Drake is a witty and well-developed protagonist and the movie like quality of the script improves the game's overall presentation. The gameplay can be confusing or frustrating at times when figuring out what direction the player needs to go. Some of the firefights can be tricky and require careful planning and patience as well as quick decision making to overcome the enemy AI.

AMAZING!!!!
Added 11/3/2009
It's difficult to put it into words, but here I go: AMAZING AND GORGEOUS-EYE-CANDY graphics!!! You can spend hours just feeling (yes, feeling the jungle, hearing all and seeing how leaves move to the wind, admiring the waterfalls and the ripples when in ponds or deep water, splashes of water when you jump in..... IT'S ENDLESS) Now for gaming aspects: it has challenge, has kick without being impossible nor hard, presenting a good challenge (even in normal and I'm just starting to play it). Good balance and amazing how fluid you can shoot while hanging on a vine, ledge, etc..... I recommend it and hope that it is very very noticeable, catching and satisfying experience for the ones buying and playing it!

Lara Croft step aside!
Added 10/26/2009
I have only had my PS3 for less than a year, so, to say the least, I am playing catch-up when it comes to the best games of the past couple of years. The big advantage is that I get them a lot cheaper, but the disadvantage is that I am behind the curve when it comes to being part of the lastest rave in gameing software. Another advantage is that I get to look at reviews and see all of the past games that others thought so highly of and choose only the best. With this being said, I will say that this game is one of the best I have played. The game feels so much like playing a character in a movie. The in-game cut scenes are outstanding and the voice overs are the best. It takes a little bit of time to get used to the controls, but once you do they are very easy to use. For instance, the aim and shot controls are R2 and L2 instead of what most games use, R1 and L1. The closet game I have played to this one is any of the Tomb Raider games of recent or maybe the newest Resident Evil 5. I guess you could throw in Dead Space, but most of these games feel more like shooters. This game just has a different feel, maybe because of the great cut scenes. Overall, I highly recomend this game to anyone who likes this type of genre and I look forward to the next installment in the series, Uncharted 2.
