Plot: A pampered Chihuahua accustomed to the living the good life in glamorous Beverly Hills must rein in her heiress instincts and rely on the kindness of strangers in order to find her way back home after becoming hopelessly lost in Mexico. Chloe (voice of Drew Barrymore) is a diamond-clad toy dog who favors traveling in her wealthy owner's purse over frolicking in an open park, and Papi (voice of George Lopez) is the kind of independent pup that she doesn't afford a second glance. When a vacation mishap leaves Chloe stranded in Mexico, the Chihuahua who doesn't speak a lick of Spanish must rely on street-smart German shepherd Delgado (voice of Andy Garcia) to guide her back home before she wanders any further south. Meanwhile, brave Papi races to the border intent on proving his love for Chloe by tracking her down and escorting her home in style. Along the way, Papi is joined by an enthusiastic pack of helpful pooches (voices of Luis Guzman, Plácido Domingo, and Eddie Piolin Sotelo) a pair of concerned humans (Piper Perabo and Manolo Cardona), an anxious iguana (voice of Paul Rodriguez), and a crafty rat (voice of Cheech Marin). ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

This is a great movie for both kids and adults. Our friends named their Chihuahuas "Pookie & Snookie". After they watched the movie, they realized that their little lapdogs can be very brave, and don't deserve such cute, but demeaning names. They did not rename them however, and they remain to this day Pookie & Snookie :)

This movie was great for our whole family. My husband & I really enjoyed it & laughed many times. Our 8-year-old daughter & 6-year-old son really enjoyed it as well. I can't see anybody not liking this movie unless they just plain don't like Chihuahuas. We love them. We have 2 ourselves. I would highly recommend this movie.

The original movie I got had two small scratches. I did not think when I mentioned it anything would be done. I was contacted and told the movie would be replaced. It was and in a very timely manner as was the original purchase. I was very pleased with this purchase and how the replacement was handled. More than pleased, surprised, nicely. Thank you.

How can you not like a movie with talking Chihuahuas?

4 of 5 cute stars for this movie. How can you not like a movie with talking Chihuahuas? The Plot? Oh come on, does it really need one? OK, rich dog from you can guess where gets lost in Mexico and has to find her way home. Throw in a talking rat and you have the idea. This is a cute movie that is a bit funny and really easy on the brain. Yeah, yeah, you should see it.

This is a very cute movie about a spoiled Chihuahua who is stolen and then escapes and must try to find her way home to Beverly Hills. There are loads of laughs along the way. She makes lots of new friends and gets roughened up a bit by some dog thieves that are chasing her throughout the movie. Our family of four enjoyed it a lot and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
