Plot: The crime-fighting Turtles -- Michaelangelo (Michelan Sisti), Donatello (Leif Tilden), Raphael (Kenn Troum), and Leonardo (Mark Caso) -- return in this quickly made sequel to the popular superheroes' first film. The story concerns arch-enemy Shredder, who kidnaps nutty professor Jordan Perry David Warner, the man who invented the infamous ooze, in order to use the ooze to destroy the Turtles. Shredder enlists his hapless German shepherd puppy named Rahzar and a baby snapping turtle named Toko and dips them in the ooze to turn them into horrible and imposing ninja warriors. But on the Turtles' side is proficient kick-boxing pizza boy Keno (Ernie Reyes Jr.), who uses his moves to help the Turtles stop Shredder and his monster warriors. ~ Paul Brenner, All Movie Guide

A damn good 2nd installment
Added 2/5/2009

After the sucess of the 1st film, it was clear that a 2nd installment of the TMNT saga was on the cards, TMNT 2 The Secret of The Ooze was bigger, more action packed and somehow still keeps the story intact.

The story takes place am gueseing A few days after the 1st film, the turtles have got rid of Shredder and his Foot ninjas and have made New York city safe again.....or did they?, because somehow Shredder is back, he is P***ed off and has revenge on his mind, so now the turtles have to stop him once more but it won't be easy.

TMNT 2 has some good characterisation which is always good to have in any movie, the action set pieces are once again fast and fun, the film also has some great funny moments, the only beef I got with the TMNT films is the movie soundtrack, for example Vilnila Ice? W.T.F.!....anyway dispite my beef with the music, TMNT 2 will keep kids, adults and TMNT fans entertained for 88mins

Good clean fun but a bit "more of the same"
Added 11/20/2008

As a sophomore outing for this franchise, this is a competent followup to the original that delves a bit more into the actual origins of the Turtles and their mentor. It is very much an enjoyable film for those who liked the first outing. However it is also quite similar in many ways. There are new action scenes and new jokes that play out well enough. But they are still lingering on the Turtles and their origins. After the first movie, it would have been nice to see them move on to simply accepting their place as a recognized force in the universe and moving on to a story bigger than themselves. (It is also a little distracting that Donatello's voice changed due to Corey Feldman's time in rehab.)

It would also have been nice to see them introduce more of the recognized characters from the Turtles' mythology, such as Baxter or Beebop and Rocksteady.

Still, it is competently done and enjoyable to watch.

My son says the movie plays great and he watches it all the time! It plays without skipping and the cover was in great shape as well. I would order from this seller again!

The Turtles Never Fail on Screen
Added 6/11/2008

Whether its a movie or a show, the Turles are the best on screen. This probably is the best and most family-friendly out of the live action TMNT movies. It's not too dark like part one, not too confusing like part 3, and live action, unlike the TMNT cartoon movie.

The situations are cheesy, just like their pizza, and should go fine with parents. There are some fighting scenes and constumed monsters, but will roll over easy with the comical satire.

Perfect if you love the Turtles, love green, love karate, love family/Disney movies, or love 90's culture.
