Plot: A year after appearing in the box-office sleeper Shanghai Surprise, pop superstar Madonna starred in the screwball comedy Who's That Girl? She plays Nikki Finn, who is being released from prison after serving a four-year sentence for a murder she didn't commit. Meanwhile, wealthy lawyer Loudon (Griffin Dunne) is about to get married that afternoon to the snobby Wendy (Haviland Morris), the daughter of Simon Worthington (John McMartin). Worthington does not approve of the wedding and he wants Nikki out of town as soon as possible, so he sends Loudon to collect Nikki and take her to the bus station. Instead, the flamboyant Nikki seeks her revenge while trying to find out what happened to her friend Johnny, which causes Loudon a lot of trouble. Naturally, wild action ensues -- some of it involving an escaped Cougar belonging to Loudon's boss, the millionaire animal collector Montgomery Bell (John Mills) -- and Loudon having to choose between the prim Wendy and the unpredictable Nikki. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, All Movie Guide

cute but not that great

this movie was not really her best but she looked really cute and gorgeous. the plot was ridiculous....ridiculously funny. the way she walked and her accent was really funny. lol, it kinda looked retarded. i find it pretty interesting that in one scene she goes back to her normal voice all of a sudden. i do enjoy the scene where she falls in love with the guy. even though, she seems funny her acting skills wasn't that impressive. it somehow felt kinda fake and rehearsed. however, i love the songs she did for the movie. "the look of love", "can't stop", "causing a commotion", and of course "who's that girl".

Long wait

I waited almost three weeks then contacted company on the status of the order. They stated it was mailed to the incorrect address but would be resent. I am not sure how true that was since I had checked the status on the order before contacting them and there was no info of the movie ever being shipped.

Couldn't put music onto my laptop

I'm not sure why but I wasn't able to put this cd into my iTunes. What I ended up doing was ripping it using Windows Media Player, burning a 2nd cd and then using that to put the music onto iTunes. I had to buy the whole cd just for 2 songs but I really enjoy the songs so it was worth it for me. The rest of the cd is so so.

Vintage Madonna.

Who's That Girl is the ultimate Madonna soundtrack. There are 4 original songs that Madonna sings which include: Who's That Girl, Can't Stop, Causing a Commotion, and The Look of Love. The last song I have mentioned is Madonna's most beautiful ballad of the '80s, too bad it was never released as a single. I highly recommend this fabulous purchase if you are a huge Madonna fan like myself. Enjoy!

Who's That Girl.....Now?

The 80's brought us a lot of fun comedies. This is one of them. Though the movie was panned by critics at that time, let's face it, it's a fun movie to watch where you don't take it seriously and just laugh. Madonna is just flat out funny! Yes, she can act.
