The DVD was only for a specific region and would not play for us - luckily my daughter has an Apple laptop that we were able to watch it but unfortunately off her tiny screen.A complete disappointment

Best Little Whorehouse In Texas

Although a little racy it is a thoroughly enjoyable film for adults. burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton have great chemistry on the screen and although he is not the best singer for the couple of songs he sings in, he is by far not the worst. Dom Deluise is a riot as usual and although it is about a whorehouse, it does seem to humanize the situation a bit. I was totally happy that I could update my DVD collection with this to replace my VCR copy.

DOLLY PARTON AND BURT REYNOLDS WERE DYNAMITE IN THIS MUSICAL. SO WERE JIM NABORS, DON DELOUISE, CHARLES DURNING. A FANTASTIC , WONDERFUL MUSICAL, WITH WONDERFUL WONDERFUL TALENT. CHARLES DURNING SINGING AND REPOSITIONING HIS HAT WHEN HE SANG MADE YOUR SIDES HURT WITH LAUGTHER. AND EVEN AT THE END, MOMA AND ED EARL DROVE OFF INTO THE SUNSET TOGETHER

This movie is so much fun to watch. It has lots of humor, but it also has a love story and political issues, not to mention the good looking young actors. Not often that you can have it all in one movie. I had this movie on VHS and had to get it on DVD. It is a movie I can watch over and over again. It is a feel good movie. If you need a lift, this is the movie for you.
