Plot: Daniel Stern plays an up-and-coming stockbroker; Christopher Plummer is his boss; and Arielle Dombasle is the boss' wife. As a sort of litmus test for future executives, Plummer invites Stern and coworker Martin Mull for a weekend in the country. The sexy Dombasle takes a liking to Stern, who wonders if cohabiting with the boss' wife will improve his chances at promotion. This is but one element of writer/director Ziggy Steinberg's Felliniesque script, which throws in all sort of eccentrics and bizarre situations to pad out what is essentially a one-joke situation. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

One of the most borring films I have yet to see. Just pointless!
Poor script, poor acting and most all empty plot.

Very funny. A Classic 80's Comedy.

Some great comedic acting and one-liners in this simple, yet very humorous movie. All of the actors are perfectly cast and some very subtle comedy that you probably either get, or don't. If you get it, you'll love it. This movie is along the lines of Fletch, The Inlaws, and Caddyshack. Hope this helps.

Daniel Stern at his best!

This is a great comedy and takes corporate antics to the max! A must see if you like Joe Versus the Volcano or Office Space.

Last of the Screwball Comedies

Come on guys, get a life! This movie is very very funny. Daniel Stern is one of the most intelligent & sympathetic & naturally funny performers alive. Martin Mull is a master wit & comedian & excels in this as a suck-up jerk. Arielle Dombasle (so wonderful in the great Rohmer film Pauline at the Beach) is gorgeous & sexy & funny. Christopher Plummer is brilliant as the ultimate pompous stuff shirt.

So ignore the prissy negatives, folks & give this gem a chance. You won't be sorry,

The only reason to watch this movie is for the bosses wife

The girl is really hot :) the plot and acting are sorta funny but this is a cheezy 80's movie that is all about the sex :) acting does not take main priority obviously :)
