I was about eight years old when this came out. And I loved every second of it.
Although dark in tone, what a lot of people don't really understand is that this movie was made in a time when people were less...well, 'anal'...about what they were watching. People then were less easily offended. I, personally, would love to see more movies and television shows like this.
Does anybody know if this is coming out on DVD?? If so, when??

Love this show...I saw it once on T.V. and I thought I would never see again since I last saw it years ago. Too bad it hasn't come out on DVD yet. Lots of fun celebrities depicting nursery rhyme characters. Very funny if you know your fairytales! I know kids would love it, cause I'm a big kid at heart and I love it!!!

Not really appropriate for kids

This is not something I would show to classroom full of little kids. Some of the content was inappropriate...such as the "Mary Mary Quite Contrary" skit. Some of the skits were not appropriate, and I wouldn't recommend showing this to children.

Fun, awesome movie!

My younger sister was obsessed with this movie when we were growing up, so I've probably seen it at least fifty times. Now, as an adult, it's great to watch it again because I realize how many huge stars were in it playing bit parts. Really fun movie...I wish they would re-release it to DVD!

Fun, Goofy Fairy Tale

It is what it is--a fun, goofy fairy tale. It's VERY dated--a lot of the cringe-worthy 80's fashion and artists were here in full force. I laughed at many parts of the video, and shocked even myself at some of the 80's artists I recognized.
I bought it mainly because of the presence of "That Lil' Ol' Band From Texas", the "guys with the 5 o'clock shadows" themselves, the fantabulous ZZ TOP (This video filled one of the few gaps in my ZZ Top collection).
