For the Young at Heart

A story of four best friends who were born close together. Their support of each other is valued and they worry as they spend their first summer apart. As they discuss summer plans in clothing store - a pair of magical jeans appears. The four girls have four different builds and sizes, but each one of them fits beautifully into the pants. They feel the magic of the jeans and make rules to keep in touch via the jeans during the summer. They pass these pants to each other as well as write a short story on the adventure in the jeans while they are going through while apart.
The four girls: Bridget, Lena, Carmen, and Tibby hold on to the ten rules. Tibby is the only one to stay at home and work at a "Big Box" store. She becomes friends with a terminally ill girl about 12 years old. They film a movie together. Lena visits Greece where her grandparents live - and we see her first love. Bridget goes to soccer camp in Mexico and tries to seduce Eric, a handsome young soccer coach. This is against the rules and he keeps his distance. Carmen is shocked when she visits her WASP father in South Carolina. She is finally able to tell him how she feels he has treated her over the years and how hurt she is that her life did not seem important to him. The confrontation is dramatic and real.
Each teenage girl experiences a valuable life lesson and the pants are the thread that connects them while far away.

I rember watching this movie i Really long time ago when i was 8 year old i think. all i rember was i ablutley adored it! <3

I never received this DVD from the company. I e-mailed on March 15th, 16th, and 18th and they responsed to the first e-mail on the 19th. They said it was being shipped and I still don't have the movie. Amazon returned me my money and I have purchased the movie else where. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
