Plot: When a hard-luck blue-collar worker and his two best friends are mistaken for Army Reservists by a tough-talking Army sergeant, the plane set to fly them to the front lines of Iraq mistakenly drops them in the middle of Mexico to disastrous results in a freewheeling military comedy starring Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and D.J. Qualls. Larry (the Cable Guy) has lost his job and his woman in the short span of 24 hours. Convinced that some suds and target shooting are just the right remedies for a broken, jobless heart, Larry sets out with his next-door neighbor Bill (Engvall) and their trigger-happy pal Everett (Qualls) in order to blast off some rounds and down some brews. Their relaxing weekend soon takes an unexpected turn, however, when hard-case Army sergeant Kilgrove (Keith David) mistakes the trio as slacking Army reservists and loads them in a plane bound for Fallujah. Subsequently air-dropped over Mexico due to pilot error, the clueless, wannabe war heroes become convinced that they're actually in the Middle East and set out to save a rural village from what they assume to be an insurgent uprising. Though the thankful locals champion the noble but dimwitted trio for their heroism, the celebration is short-lived as ruthless warlord Carlos Santana (Danny Trejo) pays a personal visit to the town with a plan to confront the fearless warriors who dared to challenge his iron-fist rule. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

The dumbest piece of @*&!@
Added 8/21/2009

I try to watch everything, even stuff I hate, with an open mind. I never liked Larry The Cable Guy as a stand up comedian, even though he seems like a nice guy. Health Inspector is the one of the dumbest movies to hit the movie goers ever. Larry is rarely funny and all humour is about farting or male gentila. I honestly dont understand how people could enjoy this awful movie.

Unbelievably funny

This movie is soooo funny my family and I have watched it 17 times, so far. Larry is a brilliant comedian and actor. We own Witless Protection also, and that is even funnier. We can hardly breath from laughing so hard watching these movies. Although he gets a little naughty, he's not hard core. I can't stand real filthy comedy.

This was ordered as a Christmas present for my nephew & while I was visiting for the Holidays we (the family) watched it together. We all really enjoyed it & laughed a lot.

Enjoyed prompt service as usual, thanks again.

funny, and more Larry for all you Larry lovers

Somewhat of a disappointment to be totally honest. I LOVE Larry the Cable Guy and I think he's one of the best stand up comedians when it comes to unpredictable and tricky jokes. Somehow though, he wasn't particularly funny on Delta Farce. Neither were most of the other characters (except that skinny guy- HE was funny).

Even though the film is a disappointment, I still really loved it because it's just an outrageous style of humor that really cracks me up. It's dumb humor, sure, but it's the kind of laughs that always immediately put me in a good mood.

I'd say Larry's previous movie was better than this one though.

The fact that the bad guy in the movie was called Carlos Santana was the funniest joke of all, haha. I'm a big Santana fan (I LOVE his album Love, Devotion and Surrender that he did with John McLaughlin back in 1972) so any time his name is mentioned makes me happy. Funny how the bad guy would say "I'm Carlos Santana!" and Larry the Cable Guy would go "The singer?" and he'd go "NO, NOT THE SINGER!" haha

The way Larry the Cable Guy and his buddies saved a Mexican town (that they thought was a town in Iraq, LOL) and the way they found water were funny segments. Much of the movie was about Larry and company saving a small Mexican town from a gang of bad guys. They'd save the town and not realize they were doing it, lol. The perfect example of quality humor in my book!

Overall, good movie. I just can't get enough of Larry the Cable Guy!
