I was lucky to see this film at a screening where Armin Mueller-Stahl talked to the audience (and even played his violin for us!). He was as charming as this film. The film is warm, thoughtful, charming and original. I was disappointed it did not do better. It deserved to. A true gem.

Armin Mueller-Stahl Gives a Memorable Performance

Sad, sometimes funny story of a prideful man coping in a difficult situation. Also it is a poignant, bitter-sweet love story. I feel Mueller-Stahl is an outstanding character actor--if you've seen him in "Music Box" with Jessica Lange, you'll love this movie.

I watched the whole movie hoping to see something worth the price of the dvd. Sorry , no such luck. One scene where the girls were telling secrets was somewhat amusing.
I gave it to my niece to give to her husband as a joke.
Save your money and time.

funny and unusually revealing

In this movie a group of women who are longtime friends get together for a "girls' night in". They end up talking about various of their sexual experiences in real life and fantasy. The fantasies seem like ones women really have and the experiences are like ones some women have and others could at least relate to. There was a great deal of humor, but also real feeling. In the process of sharing all this, the women gain a closer bond with each other and with other women in general.

Decent movie with lots of talk about sex

A decent movie, though not amazingly interesting...
But if you want to see a movie covering mostly a slumber party full of beautiful women talking about sex (plus a little nudity), this might be it. (The title is not to be taken literally, of course.)
Does ANYONE know what song is playing during the scene with Olivia d'Abo and Lora Zane at around 45 minutes into the movie? It's a very beautiful and somber song, and I have no idea what it is. If anyone has a clue, please email me at pc@frankplads.com - thanks.

Many cracks

DVD had many cracks on the recorded surface and could not be played, so I had to polish! It was the worst!
The seller must have not checked the item before shipping.
I won't buy again from this seller.
