this is a feel good movie. i am from south east iowa and most people are loving and thoughtful. joyce [rosanna]is the same way my sister and i are. my sister is the poorest person i know and she would give the coat of her back to someone that needed it,and have seen her do it. this movie met alot more to me than just a movie. if more people were like joyce and my sister nancy this world would be a better place. watch this movie and learn from it.

I absolutely loved this movie. I myself am from Ottumwa Iowa where the film was shot. I guess that made it all the more wonderful. Roseanne does a great job, as well as Ms. Gibb. Lighthearted family entertainment!

I watched it on HBO, and I thought this was an alright movie, it showed how families stick together...yes it was a little bizarre, but I grew up like this so I really related to alot of the storyline!! A definate for anyone who grew up without much money, and was on welfare from time to time! Come on everyone knows someone who has Elvis decor right! I know I do!!
