Plot: The secret longings of three young, hip L.A. couples provides the impetus of the conversations in lightweight drama which focuses upon the issue of commitment. One member of each couple, Suzanna and Dodger, Alicia and Robert, and Michelle and Charles secretly carries a torch for former lovers. It seems that while Suzanna begs for Dodger's attention, he is still attracted to Alicia, who's pregnant with Robert's child but hesitates to tell him because Robert is attracted to Michelle who is with Charles who still yearns for Suzanna. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

Ineptly made comedy dealing with romantic indecision.

A cast comprised of three romantically interwoven couples, with an additional pair who spend a good portion of this film discussing their failed relationships, deals hopelessly with a jumbled script and lacklustre direction, eventually sinking beneath the force of hollow purpose. Some of the players, notably Sarah Trigger, Sheryl Lee, and Esai Morales, produced some crackle for their dialogue, but this studentish production softened the effect. This type of scenario, involving cleverly coincidental connections among the cast, is more commonplace today than when this work was released (1994); in this instance, however, all chance of freshness was broken down by weak architectonics.

Do you ever wonder why independent films don't take off? Why do we watch movies with explosions and slick production values? If you wonder it, then you never saw this thing.

Three couples can't figure out what love is like and they keep sleeping with each other. Heather Graham keeps yelling "why don't you tell me that you love me" which might be a scene out of a play that she's rehearsing and it might not. She's stuck with a guy that looks like John Malkovich but yet can't act. He's supposed to be a writer but he's horrible. Then there are two people that meet in a bar and talk about relationships. ONe of them is Sheryl Lee from Twin Peaks. The third couple is a musician (he's playing his guitar in the living room - oh cool) and his pregnant girlfriend. Oh yes, everyone in this movie has cheated with soemone from another couple.

And there's a couple of guys driving around Los Angeles. The dumped boyfriend and the supportive friend. Unfortunately, they are too much like the guys from Swingers for you NOT to miss Vince Vaughn (and that other guy-- what's his name - the lead from Swingers)

Eventually all 6 people from the couples meet up to which we are treated to such earthshattering truths as "men are afraid of commitment", "women change their minds as to what they want" and "everyone in relationships lies occasionally". SHOCKING!

Like Entropy, this movie shows the perils of a person attempting a chick movie for guys. Unlike Entropy, this thing has no redeeming values. You think with 8 characters ONE of them would be interesting. But every single one is a cliche. A hideous movie and one hopes that the producers are filming wedding videos now.

Not what I had hoped for.

This movie is a whole lot of talk with no real surprises, interesting story lines, or interesting characters. I viewed this on DVD due to the fact that it had Heather Graham, whom I loved in Austin Powers 2 and Boogie Nights. She gives a strong performance as do most of the other cast members, however the rest of the cast is filled with no-names which was kind of disappointing. Aside from Heather Graham this movie was not really worth my time. The DVD didnt have a whole lot of extras which was disappointing because that is one of my favorite things about DVD's. Unless you're a big Heather Graham fan like me I suggest not watching this movie on DVD or VHS.

Funny, Hip Romantic Comedy

Story line centers on six 20-something oddballs and their intermingled relationships. Very entertaining! I loved this movie. In the same genre as Chasing Amy or Before Sunrise.

Don' t watch it

Unfortunately this film is the most boring film I have ever seen in a movie theatre. No story, untalented actors and 90 mins of boredom. One short word to the director. Please "Don't do it" again.
