Plot: David Keith both directs and stars in this Sri Lanka-filmed adventure spoof. Taking equal portions of Indiana Jones, King Solomon's Mines and The Macomber Affair, the film finds Keith playing Buck Malone, a mercenary hunter, headquartered in Borneo. Hired to guide a cotton-witted married couple through the wilderness, Malone falls in love with the wife (former Playboy foldout Kathy Shower) while hubby (Brant van Hoffman) walks around in a perpetual daze. The film ventures into John & Bo Derek territory when the intrepid trio cross the path of erotically-inclined cannibals. Further Adventures of Tennesse Buck isn't exactly rocket science, but it's immensely enjoyable on a low-comedy level. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Davey is the greatest actor ever. Humphrey Bogart? John Wayne? Tom Cruise? Role stealing Leo?? Davey is the greatest actor of our generation. Those other guys are chumps. My buddy slash thinks he is the best too.

Amusing adventire simnilar to Indiana Jones series. Best part for me was the Lake Amphibian and the flight scenes. The interactions of people (including demise of the nerd) was amusingly done.

A fun rip-off of Indiana Jones

The story is fun and worthy of a few chuckles. For me the amphibian aircraft and its ultimate importance were most pleasant. Overall I'd rate it "see again" and recommend it to adventure "nuts" and airplane fanatics.

David Keith is great as a Indiana Jones type character. He is very witty and the film is entertaining. The oil rub down scene with Shower is one that no one should miss. Its the highlight of this film.
