Plot: An average middle-aged guy finds himself in an extraordinarily weird situation in this off-beat romantic adventure that begins when 53-year-old car salesman Al goes to a local coffee shop with his friends and ends up escorting voluptuous oversexed jailbait Ellie back to the desert trailer she shares with her mom Julie and her brutal psycho boyfriend Boyd. While Boyd and Ellie take off for a while, Al ends up dancing in the moonlight with sweetly seductive Julie. The moon that night is extraordinarily large and the two end up falling asleep. Eventually Al awakens and tries to go home, but unfortunately, his car will not start. Julie then informs him that most cars have trouble starting there. Still he manages to leave. Stopping at a filling station, he is appalled to discover that someone has stuffed a corpse in his trunk. That turns out to be only the least of his troubles. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

I loved the music in this movie, but can't find a soundtrack. Any way to find out the music score/artists?

An Off-the-Wall Sleeper
Added 10/24/2003

This movie features Angelina Jolie in her prime (BEFORE she became a star), Michael Biehn at his most psychotic, Danny Aiello
at his most befuddled, Anne Archer sweet and sexy and a plot
with more twists and turns than a mountain road. Having said that, this is one of the GREAT "Murphy's Law" comedies of all time! Nothing seems to go quite right for poor Danny Aiello
until the very end. Meanwhile, we are treated to cadevars that
won't stay put, robbers and gunslingers who can't shoot straight,
an actor with more technique than conviction (brilliantly played
by Alfred Molina) and a nice, but brief nude scene from Angelina
Jolie. Implausible events pile up on one another like dead bodies in a Clint Eastwood shoot-em-up, yet everything is done
with a wink and a totally vacant stare that keeps you involved.
The reaction shots on the actors' faces are priceless!
This movie isn't for everyone, but if you like your comedies
oddball to off-the-wall, you'll LOVE this one!

Do you love Angelina? or not?
Added 2/24/2001

I absolutely love Angelina Jolie, so of course I will sit and watch anything if it means looking at her for two hours. I own this video and I do watch it, but not because its a great film. If you are looking to find a Good movie to watch then keep looking. If you are an Anjelina fan, then you probably allready own it anyway.

I will always be a fan of 90s Angelina Jolie! She was always so real and gritty. This movie is one of her firsts. She is amazing!

Angelina Rebells for a Cause
Added 10/11/2009

This is a coming of age movie for a small band of young women expelled from high-school for attempting to deal with a perverted biology-teacher all by themselves. That gets everything moving. The scene is set in a small town on the bend in a river with a great old bridge. There is not a lot here to tie the story to a particular geographic area or period in American history. All the guys in town are upset with the girls for causing the biology-teacher, who is also the football coach, all this trouble. That along with other social issues to tangle everything up real good leads to a series of crisis scenarios. The ostracized girls hold a "bare-breast tattooing by candle-light" party in "their" abandoned house. Then, with messes all around, several people need to be rescued, one at a time, until nearly everything is resolved. Life goes on with everybody, wiser for their shared experiences, wandering off to make their own way in the world.

2.5 stars out of 4

The Bottom Line:

It's got a nice topless scene for the raincoat crowd, but Foxfire fails in terms of character development, plot, and interestingness; enjoyable enough, it's just not a very good or memorable film.
