Plot: This direct-to-video thriller stars Jason London as a grungy-looking Seattle psychopath setting off bombs so as not to lose his Japanese sweetheart. Lori Petty, sporting a truly odd coiffure which must be her hair growing back from Tank Girl, plays a hard-bitten FBI agent determined to take London down. Subplots include Petty's squabbles with her boss and a visiting Japanese policewoman whose interests conflict with those of the Bureau. Despite its low budget and somewhat cliched plot, the film is well-directed by Keoni Waxman and should please mad-bomber buffs. ~ Robert Firsching, All Movie Guide

Music is great, movie is alright

I just saw this on one of our movie channels the other day but it was called "Countdown" not "Serial Bomber." Having grown up in Seattle and always enjoying films that have Jeremy and/or Jason London in them, I decided I would check this movie out. It wasn't horrible.. the acting was a little sketchy, but I still ended up watching the whole movie without getting bored. Definitely different roles for Petty and London. I went on Amazon to try and find the soundtrack for the movie which I thought was actually the best part but I cannot find it anywhere. I can't even find any of the individual songs anywhere. Weird. I'm sort of amazed that they aren't listed anywhere. The music is worth checking this movie out.

This movie was ok, could have been better. It seemed to have a lot of gaps in the storyline. However, it was entertaining. Jason London played a good part. The soundtrack was awesome--but cannot be found. The song "Timebomb" was the best!

A Harsh Mondern-day Romeo & Juliet

Definite change in London's usual roles, with his characters' skewed view of love. I found the concept interesting, and it had it's spots of humor, but the best thing about it was a song called "Timebomb" by Flesh, which I cannot seem to find ANYWHERE. A "B" movie at best, I still can't stop myself from watching it.
