WONDERFUL FILM!
Added 9/19/2007
My mother and father went to the premier. We had friends that were in the film. I saw the film myself several times and had the poster on the wall of my bedroom when I was in High School. I loved it and want to see it again so bad. I have tried for many years to find it and have not been able to yet. I would dearly love to have a copy. Please bring back to dvd or vhs! :)

Hometown Memories
Added 6/13/2007
Well, there are sentimental reasons why I like this movie. My cousin is Jimmy Clem and my brother married Slim Picken's daughter that played the blond character with Jaclyn Smith. I actually got to meet the cast while they were filming so a flood of memories came upon me as I watched it now.
It is a simple story about bootleggers and running from the sheriff, but it is nice to see great actors, some in their prime of their career and others just beginning like Jaclyn Smith was. I would recommend this movie to anyone who just likes a good, clean fun type of movie and have a few laughs without having to figure out a complicated plot.

The Start Of Jaclyn Smith Acting Career
Added 1/30/2007
The only reason I bought this movie, because it Jaclyn Smith it. This was her first movie part and she did a wonderful job. However, this movie was about making moonshine. Paul Koslo plays the role of Othar Pruitt, Dennis Fimple plays the role of Dewy Crenshaw and Slim Pickens plays the role of Grandpa Pruitt. When Othar was a young boy his day when out one morning to slop the pigs and was ******. As the boy got order Grandpa Pruitt thought it was time for him to learn about making moonshine. Pruitts had been feuded with the Woodall's since Grandpa was a knee high to a weed. Enter Jaclyn Smith who plays the role Sally Fannie Tatum. When the boys catch Sally and her girl friends skinny dipping Sally makes them take of their clothes and take with her. When Grandpa is ******, Othar seeks revenge. Even though Jaclyn Smith role was small it was enough to let people know that she was going to one tremendous actress.
