New $10 content headed to RPG on April 17 introduces new city Idylla, 20 side quests, multiple dungeons, and new "mysterious" race. Rumors of additional Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning downloadable content were spot-on. Electronic Arts today announced the Teeth of Naros DLC for Big Huge Games' action role-playing title. The world of Amalur continues to grow on April 17. Weekend Warrior 03/30/12
Phil Kollar received an important interstellar message and now he has to return to his people. Hes leaving an empty space here at the office, because hes taking all his stuffed animals. Tim Turi: Im clearing my entire gaming slate to save the galaxy once and for all. Not knowing what happens in Mass Effect 3s controversial ending is driving me crazy, and I cant wait to catch up. Phil Kollar: Packing up my junk and moving it out of the office! Goodbye, GI, Ill miss you! Jeff Marchiafava: I finally managed to beat Mass Effect 3 last weekend, so I no longer have to worry about finishing up in order to avoid spoilers. I now have the time to head back to Skyrim, but considering the epic scale of both games, I might go with a bite-sized game instead. Maybe Ill finally check out Journey, or try to finish up Spelunky. Reckoning achievements hint at more DLC
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a pretty long game, especially if you attempt to complete a significant portion of the side-quests. Just in case you managed to wrap that up and chew through Dead Kel already, though, it appears that more DLC is on the way. Xbox 360 Achievements has revealed another set of virtual baubles to chase, worth 150g. A few might be spoilers, but without knowing anything about the DLC it's hard to tell which ones. It's probably safe to reveal two of the smaller ones: "Murder Most Fowl" for killing 50 Pteryx, and "I Regret Nothing" for falling to your death from a new area. Other achievements give some indication of characters and groups that will be introduced in the DLC. If this mystery DLC is anything like Reckoning's first pack, it will include a handful of new enemies, several pieces of equipment, and some extra Twists of Fate for permanent stat b (Read More)
