The Treasurer's Report

Robert Benchley plays a very nervous substitute for an ailing treasurer at an important meeting. This is the earliest preserved document made by the sound-on-film system adopted by a major studio, in this case Fox Movietone. It was also the first occasion an actor had spoken on screen for more than one minute at a time.
