Another Great Movie by Mario Kassar & Andrew Vajna , I saw Air America when first released on Video & again on DVD with a better picture & and sound and now even better on Blu Ray with a clearer picture & sound & well acted especially by Mel Gibson & Robert Downey jr . with action adventure and sence of humor ... Raecommended .

Hollywood - Not historical fact

As a child I lived in Laos. My father worked for Continental Airways and I have a particular interest in this part of our history. Air America is entertaining but grossly misrepresents the drug situation. My father hates this movie. The drug focus is all wrong and misrepresents history. The public knows so little about the Secret War in Laos so it is a shame that the producers made the focus of the movie about profiteers and drugs. This was far from the truth. Air America does have a good special feature called "Return Flight-revisiting Air America" that discusses the controversy of the film. They discuss both view points on the drug issue. This is worth watching along with some of the other special feature segments.

This movie was pretty good. Seemed short and like the story line movied fast, but deff worth watching!

My DVD came to my home, quickly, and without a scratch. Amazon is fast becoming my first mode of shopping. Great movie, and a fair price.

This was an action packed video but a little far-fecthed. I enjoyed Mel Gibson as usual and Robert Downey Jr too.
