This movie has so much detail, it almost looks like there is real footage in it. It is done very well. I recommend for everyone to watch it. The planes are outstanding.

If any movie ever benefitted from the appearance of new technology, this one is it. The appearance of Blu Ray high definition formatting makes this movie come alive on the screen. It's almost impossible to remember that this movie was originally shot in 1969, when watching the Hurricanes, Spitfires, Messershmitts and Heinkels roar across the sky in spectacular detail. The original photography done in panavision wide screen must have done a creditable job in presenting this epoch in theaters, but on a wide screen HDTV, in super sharp detail, the film is simply breathtaking. The incredible vistas over the English countryside in ultrarealistic battle scenes are worth the price.

The original cinematographers deserve additional plaudits for the marvelous air battle scenes, that now come alive in Blu Ray.

This movie will be a natural for conversion to the new 3D format.

I had watched this movie in the theatres when it originally came out. I was happy
to find it in your DVD movies... Excellent quality, exactly as I remember the film from the theatres....
