Finding Graceland, the movie
Added 9/9/2009

I was told this was a good movie, but the name seem sort of hooky. I brought it anyway, and I must say I would recommend it to all even if you are not a Elvis fan. The movie is not about Elvis or Graceland. It is about the lives of three people who's paths cross which leads to a healing of their lives.

Fun Movie

Having seen only 20 minutes of the movie when it was on TV, I had to follow up with a purchase (esp. since they don't carry this movie at Blockbuster). It was enjoyable for me from start to finish. Few inspire people like the man they called Elvis. The magic of the story kept me engaged the entire time.

The Grace of Graceland

Altho Harvey Keitel bears no resemblance to Elvis' gorgeous image, he pulls off a wonderful performance of the essence of Elvis. I loved this movie and know Elvis would have truly loved the message. It stayed with me long after it ended. Bridget Fonda does a pretty good Marilyn and Jonathon Schaech is just plain handsome. Definitely an intriguing, wonderfully written script leaving your heart warm. If you are an Elvis fan this one will touch you in a special way.

Great overall film for everyone

This movie has something for everyone even if you're not an Elvis fan. It has great acting, a good story, mystery and laughs. Although I think it works best for anyone that at least likes Elvis Presley.

Disappointing
Added 8/13/2004

I just bought this movie as it looked good and I love Harvey Keitel and Bridget Fonda. But is it just me or is the acting really, really bad? It seems like a B movie. There's nothing particularly compelling about it in any way. I'm not an Elvis fan but I don't think the writer/directors wanted to find somebody who resembled Elvis to play the part. I don't think that was the point at all. Anyway, I still haven't decided if I can watch it drone on any longer! I don't recommend this movie. If you haven't seen Freeway with Keifer Sutherland and Reese Witherspoon; rent it..it's an older one that was overlooked but it's extremely entertaining!
