Gemma Arterton Is One Of The ‘Wright Girls’

Gemma Arterton is being lined up to star in Wright Girls. The film, produced by Relativity Media and Atlas Entertainment, is described as a dark comedy-thriller about two young actresses who live together and are co-stars of a successful television show. However, they actually detest one another, and resort to extreme measures when they compete for the same role in a movie. The flick is a remake of Japanese comedy 2LDK, and has been scripted by Bert Royal, who wrote Emma Stone’s witty comedy Easy A. Andy Fickman, director of You Again, is currently in talks to helm the project. The second female lead has not yet been cast, though the project was at one time rumoured to star Megan Fox. The new wave of sword-and-sandal blockbusters look the part. But beyond the visual spectacle, they&#039re not much cop Wrath of the Titans isn&#039t particularly good. I remember feeling a certain amount of wrath over the ham-handed 3-D effects in 2010s Clash of the Titans, but the film itself wasnt bad: uneven, to be sure, but strengthened by adhering to the story template of the 1981 movie of the same name, written by Beverley Cross. If I were 12 years old I would have loved it. I tried to summon my inner 12-year-old for this sequel, but even kids might object to the subversion of Greek mythology presented here&hellipstarting with the premise that the Gods of Olympus are losing their powers. Toby Kebbell Talks WRATH OF THE TITANS, AKIRA and THE EAST

Opening today is director Jonathan Liebesman’s (Battle: Los Angeles) Wrath of the Titans. In the sequel to Clash of the Titans, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is tasked with stopping the titans and saving Zeus (Liam Neeson) from Hades’ stranglehold (Ralph Fiennes). The film also stars Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Edgar Ramirez, Toby Kebbell and Danny Huston. And for those wondering how the sequel turned out, Wrath of the Titans is what I hoped Clash of the Titans would be. It’s got a solid story, incredible effects, and the 3D is really well done.
