Lily Collins interview: I'm not doing this for fame

Growing up the daughter of a pop star, the actor was always going to be in the spotlight. Here she talks about her rapid Hollywood rise – and why she&#039d never have been happy as a socialite Lily Collins, actor and daughter of Genesis frontman Phil, settles among the dark woods and sinking velvets of an annoyingly hip hotel in Paris and sighs, then apologises immediately. She has flown here straight from the set of her next flick – Writers, in which she stars alongside Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly – and there was no direct flight from North Carolina. This is the third time I have spoken with Tarsem in the past year, and although heaps of ground can be covered with him in mere minutes, courtesy of his rapid conversational style, it was a real treat to finally have an actual conversation with the filmmaker. Tarsem is one of a kind in terms of his filmmaking and demeanor. Whether you love or despise his films, the man is certainly an original. Here's what Ta (Read More)

Downey Jennifer Lawrence in "Hunger Games" Photo: Lionsgate "The Hunger Games" devoured "Wrath of the Titans" and "Mirror Mirror" at the box office this weekend. The opening-weekend numbers for the sequel to "Clash of the Titans" and the latest big-screen version of "Snow White" offered little competition to "Games," which made an estimated $61.1 million in North America in its second weekend.
