New Images from LAWLESS, ANNA KARENINA, and NOW YOU SEE ME

We’ve got a few new images to share with you this afternoon.  Briefly: Lawless – Following a beyond stellar first trailer, we’ve got these new looks at Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Shia LaBeouf, Mia Wasikowska, and Guy Pearce in director John Hillcoat’s bootlegging-centered period drama.  The film opens on August 31st. Anna Karenina – A new image of Keira Knightley from director Joe Wright’s (Atonement) adaptation of the classic novel.  The film also stars Jude Law and Aaron Johnson and opens on November 9th. Now You See Me – The first official image of Isla Fisher in director Louis Letterier’s magician-centered heist drama, also starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Mark Ruffalo.  The film opens on January 18th, 2013. Mark Ruffalo Finds Foxcatcher

In talks to star with Steve Carell While Mark Ruffalo has become the first actor to truly play both Bruce Banner and his big green alter-ego The Hulk in Avengers Assemble , he portrayed the raging beast through the magic of performance capture, not a steady diet of steroids and steaks (or gamma radiation for the truly method actorly types). But he might be looking at a new exercise regime if he signs on to based-on-truth drama Foxcatcher for director Bennett Miller. The Moneyball filmmaker has been developing the movie for a few years now with Capote writer Dan Futterman and E Max Frye. Set Photo Roundup: Rooney Mara in BITTER PILL, Paul Rudd in LUCKY DOG, and Woody Harrelson in NOW YOU SEE ME

We’ve got a few set photos to share with you today.  Briefly: Bitter Pill – Rooney Mara sports a vastly different look for Stephen Soderbergh’s psychopharmacology thriller Bitter Pill.  Mara stars as a troubled young woman who develops a dangerous love triangle between her doctor and her recently paroled husband.  Jude Law and Channing Tatum also star.
