Description: Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) is a beautiful young woman torn between two men. She is in love with a brooding outsider Peter (Shiloh Fernandez), but her parents have arranged for her to marry the wealthy Henry (Max Irons). Unwilling to lose each other, Valerie and Peter are planning to run away together when they learn that Valerie's older sister has been killed by the werewolf that prowls the dark forest surrounding their village. For years, the people have maintained an uneasy truce with the beast, offering the creature a monthly animal sacrifice. But under a blood red moon, the wolf has upped the stakes by taking a human life. Hungry for revenge, the people call on famed werewolf hunter, Father Solomon (Gary Oldman), to help them kill the wolf. But Solomon's arrival brings unintended consequences as he warns that the wolf, who takes human form by day, could be any one of them. As the death toll rises with each moon, Valerie begins to suspect that the werewolf could be someone she loves. Panic grips the town as Valerie discovers that she has a unique connection to the beast--one that inexorably draws them together, making her both suspect...and bait.

But after that, the field is open and she may just be finding room for gangster movie Diamond . With Frankie And Alice scriptwriting team Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse at work on the script, Diamond is being kept mostly under wraps, though Screen Daily did find out that its set in the swinging 60s in London. Assuming everything comes together, it should be shooting next year. Its being produced by former financial superwoman Nicola Horlick, who has been drumming up cash from American investors and now hopes to get Hardwicke involved to boost the projects potential. We’ve got a couple of casting stories for you today. First up, director Fede Alvarez continues to fill out the cast for his reboot of The Evil Dead. Suburgatory star Jane Levy and Shiloh Fernandez (Red Riding Hood) are set as the leads, and now Heat Vision reports that Melrose Place actress Jessica Lucas and relative newcomer Elizabeth Blackmore are joining the cast. Lucas is in talks to play the best friend of Levy’s character, who is going through drug withdrawal. Lucas’ character happens to be a nurse, so her expertise comes in handy (convenient!). Blackmore will play the fiancée of Fernandez’s character and a newcomer to the group of five friends who hole up in a cabin in the woods. Given that Fernandez and Levy are the leads, I'm going to bet sight-unseen that Blackmore the first to die.
