The Awards: As it happened... Ah, spring. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and flocks of beautiful people are pitching up on the red carpet outside a swanky hotel in London. The big winner of the night was Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy , which took home Best Thriller, Best Actor (for Gary Oldman) and Best British Film.
