VAMPIRES SUCK Directors Tackling HUNGER GAMES Spoof THE STARVING GAMES

Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the glorious filmmakers behind such eloquent fare as Date Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Vampires Suck, have set their sights on The Hunger Games for their next opus.  Variety reports that Friedberg and Seltzer will write and direct The Starving Games, a “comedy” spoof that will derive its plot from The Hunger Games because it’s a lazy genius idea.  Apparently the film will also spoof The Avengers, Sherlock Holmes, and the final Harry Potter film as well, given that those movies made a lot of money and stupid people will see an Avengers reference and go “I recognize that as something that I'm aware of!
