Journey forward to the year 2022 when the historic Hotel del Coronado is known as the DAYDREAM HOTEL - and for the modest price of 1-million dollars, you can be digitally transformed into the fantasy character of your choice! But when 12 year-old Maddie Portman discovers a free pass to the Daydream Hotel, she chooses to be transformed into her most favorite fantasy character, a Mermaid...but not for the fun of it. Maddie's plan is to sneak past the Hotel's security sea barriers and swim to New Zealand to save a newly discovered real-life Mermaid from a caged life in an undersea zoo.
