Federal Agent is a 1936 American crime film directed by Sam Newfield and written by Barry Barringer. The film stars William Boyd, Irene Ware, Don Alvarado, Lenita Lane, George Cooper and Charles A. Browne. The film was released on April 14, 1936, by Republic Pictures. Famed in his Western role of Hopalong Cassidy, Bill Boyd appeared in three 1936 films of non Western genre for Winchester Productions all produced by George A. Hirliman, directed by Sam Newfield, and released by Republic Pictures. The other films were Burning Gold (1936 film) and Go-Get-'Em, Haines.
