Discover
When young Joanna Mackenzie left school to return to her island home, the lobsters were plentiful and the little fishing community was flourishing. But soon there are family jealousies and hints of poaching on the other islanders’ rights. Life gets hard when the fishing season fails and the island is left deserted. There is tragedy too in the young girl’s life, but will she finally find happiness?
