In a small provincial town in Norway, a girl is born in the winter of 1912, whose whole body is covered with fine blond hair. A curious, interesting case for the science of the time. Eve's mother dies at birth and her father, the Ardsander, will not know anything about the "lion girl". But little Eva is growing. Dodged and hidden from the curiosity of the outside world, she creates her own world, until one day she finds the courage to escape the narrowness of her life.
