Men Are Not Gods

Drama critic Skeates is planning to write a crushing review of Edmund Davey’s performance in the revival of Othello. Davey’s wife and co-star Barbara appeals to his secretary, Ann, to re-write the review. This she does, praising Davey to the heavens which leads to him becoming an instant success. Ann, however, has decided that she is in love with him, a declaration that more than displeases Davey’s wife and Ann’s boyfriend. It takes a dramatic climax to resolve the situation.
