Narasimhudu is a Telugu action masala film released on 20 May 2005 and was directed by B. Gopal. The film features Jr. NTR, Amisha Patel, and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles. The film which the production started in 2004 ended in 2005, and was kept on being postponed. Narasimhudu had incredible openings on the first day of release. The film received negative reviews and went on to be a box office failure for both Jr NTR and B. Gopal. The release of the movie was delayed due to the over budget. ', This film was later dubbed in Hindi as The Power Of Narasimha. This film marks the second collaboration of B. Gopal with Mani Sharma, after the 2001 film Narasimha Naidu.
