It follows the story of hitchiker Lennox (Alain Delon) credited as "Lui" ("Him"), taken in by a wealthy industrialist, Elena Torlato-Favrini or "Elle" ("Her"), played by Domiziana Giordano. The film was entered into the 1990 Cannes Film Festival.
